סַעֲרוֹת תֵּימָן

And Hashem shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth like the lightning; and the Lord G-d shall blow the Shofar, and shall move in stormy winds of Yemen

וַיהוָה עֲלֵיהֶם יֵרָאֶה וְיָצָא כַבָּרָק חִצּוֹ וַאדֹנָי יְהוִה בַּשּׁוֹפָר יִתְקָע וְהָלַךְ בְּסַעֲרוֹת תֵּימָן

Vayikra 25.10

10.’And you shall sanctify the Fiftieth Year, and proclaim “Dror” (liberty) throughout the Land to all its inhabitants- וְקִדַּשְׁתֶּם אֵת שְׁנַת הַחֲמִשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּקְרָאתֶם דְּרוֹר בָּאָרֶץ לְכָל יֹשְׁבֶיהָ(4616=17=8); a Jubilee it is- יוֹבֵל הִוא (60 +2 words=8) ,it shall be to you- תִּהְיֶה לָכֶם (510 +2 words=8); and you shall return every man to his Ancestral Inheritance, and every man to his family shall return-וְשַׁבְתֶּם אִישׁ אֶל אֲחֻזָּתוֹ וְאִישׁ אֶל מִשְׁפַּחְתּוֹ תָּשֻׁבוּ (3402+8 words=3410=8).

Rashi comments that the year is sanctified by the Court of the Sanhedrin at its beginning (Rosh Hashanah 8.b; Torat Kohanim, perek 2.1). The “liberty”- דְּרוֹר is for Hebrew servants- whether his ear was bored and he had decided to remain in servitude (Shmot 25.6; Torat Kohanim, perek 2.5), or whether his time for six years service had yet to end (Shmot 21.2). In the 50^th year all Hebrew servants were set free irrespective of their status and return to their families.

The word “Dror”- דְּרוֹר means free to live where one pleases not subject to the rule of others (Rosh Hashannah 9.b; Torat Kohanim, perek 2.2). The year is called “Yovel”- יוֹבֵלwhich the name for a ram’s horn (Yuval) as the Shofar is blown. Fields return to their original owners and all servants are released (verses 15-16 below).

From the above it is self evident that the State of Israel is not truly free as it has to accept the harsh decrees of the United States and the European Community (Edomites) and the United Nations not to build in its Ancestral Homeland of Judea and Samaria, the Land promised to Abraham in Parshat Lech-Lecha. Israel is thus subject to the rule of others "the subjugation of nations"-שעבוד מלכויות and has not reached the level of “Dror”- דְּרוֹר! This will only come about with the arrival of Mashiach and when He arrives (speedily in our days) will the “Yuval” rams horn Shofar be sounded. All of the Biblical land of Israel will be released from intruders and returned to the Jewish People, its rightful owners. The Jewish People will cease to be treated as “Hebrew servants” and will finally be released from the subjugation of nations-שעבוד מלכויות  . Jews will finally be able to dwell in the Promised Land from the Nile to the Euphrates and not subject to the rule of others. This matter has been foreseen by the Prophets and the Sages:

Brachot 34.b:

Shmuel said, ‘There is no difference between this world and (the world of) the days of the Mashiach except only the (release of Israel) from foreign domination

Rosh Hashanah 16 a:

Rav Abbahu said, "Why do we blow a ram’s horn? The Holy One, Blessed Be He, said: ‘Sound before Me a ram’s horn so that I may remember on your behalf the binding of Isaac the son of Abraham, and account it to you as if you had bound yourselves before Me’. "And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked and behold, behind him a ram caught in the thicket by its horns" (Breishit 22:13).

This teaches that the Holy One, Blessed be He, showed our father Abraham the ram tearing itself free from one thicket and getting entangled in another. The Holy One, Blessed be He, said to Abraham, ‘In a similar manner are your children destined to be caught up in iniquities and entangled in troubles, but they will ultimately be redeemed through the horns of the ram.’ Therefore the Prophet Zechariah said of the time of Redemption (9.14):

And Hashem shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth like the lightning; and the Lord G-d shall blow the Shofar, and shall move in stormy winds of Yemen
