A Cure for Cancer?

51.’And he shall look at the affliction on the seventh day: if the affliction has spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in the leather, whatever purpose the leather is made, the affliction is a malignant Tzara’at: it is impure-וְרָאָה אֶת הַנֶּגַע בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי כִּי פָשָׂה הַנֶּגַע בַּבֶּגֶד אוֹ בַשְּׁתִי אוֹ בָעֵרֶב אוֹ בָעוֹר לְכֹל אֲשֶׁר יֵעָשֶׂה הָעוֹר לִמְלָאכָה צָרַעַת מַמְאֶרֶת הַנֶּגַע טָמֵא הוּא (6039=18).

The verse can be divided so:

·         And he shall look at the affliction on the seventh day- וְרָאָה אֶת הַנֶּגַע בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי  (1196 =17=8);

·         If the affliction has spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in the leather, whatever purpose the leather is made-כִּי פָשָׂה הַנֶּגַע בַּבֶּגֶד אוֹ בַשְּׁתִי אוֹ בָעֵרֶב אוֹ בָעוֹר לְכֹל אֲשֶׁר יֵעָשֶׂה הָעוֹר לִמְלָאכָה (3212=8);

·         A malignant Tzara’at- צָרַעַת מַמְאֶרֶת(1441=10=1);

·         The affliction it is impure- הַנֶּגַע טָמֵא הוּא (190=10=1).

Rashi comments as to the word “malignant”- מַמְאֶרֶתthat it is like a piercing thorn and that according to Midrash it is a curse that no benefit can be enjoyed from it )Torat Kohanim, perek 12.11).

Malignant Tzaraat

צָרַעַת מַמְאֶרֶת

1441=10=1

The number 1441 is a very significant number as it contains within it the gematriot of the words “Truth”-אמת (441) and “Origin”-קדם (144). 

Interestingly the Modern Hebrew meaning of the word “malignant”- מַמְאֶרֶת refers to cancerous tumors. Cancer can be compared to a type of “internal Tzara’at” or affliction in which good cells (flesh) is “eaten up” by bad cells (flesh).

It is not inconceivable that cancer in fact is a modern day spiritual affliction (with physical symptoms) brought about through sin (a denial of Hashem) that effects the inside (closed parts) as opposed to the outside (exposed/open) parts of the body?

The joint gematria of the words:

·         Cancer-        סרטן  =319 + 1 word=14=8

·         Tzara’at-       צָרַעַת =760 + 1 word=14=8

1079=17=8 or + 2 words=1081=10=1

Perhaps the cure for cancer is "World Rectification"- תיקון עולם?

This will be be possible when People realize that Hashem exists and they glorify His Name and His Torah-the Blue print of the universe!
