These are the Generations of Noah

אֵלֶּה תּוֹלְדֹת נֹחַ

9.’These are the Generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man perfect in his generations; With G-d Noah walked-אֵלֶּה תּוֹלְדֹת נֹחַ נֹחַ אִישׁ צַדִּיק תָּמִים הָיָה בְּדֹרֹתָיו אֶת הָאֱלֹהִים הִתְהַלֶּךְ נֹחַ (3649+13 words=3662=17=8).

Rashi comments here that Noah is praised even before his offspring are listed. This praise is for a blessing as he who mentions the name of a righteous person blesses him. Also this teaches us that the real “offspring” of a person are his “good deeds”- מעשים טובים (Tanchuma 1; Beraishit Rabbah 30.6).

Good Deeds
מעשים טובים
527=14=8 or 1647=18 (Mems 600)

Rashi cites the discussion in the Midrash as to the righteousness of Noah. Some Rabbis hold that because his generation was so corrupt his good deeds made him all the more righteous but others hold that if he had lived in the generation of Abraham he would not be so considered (Tanchuma 5; Beraishit Rabbah 30.5).

Rashi adds that unlike Abraham who walked before G-d and supported himself in righteousness, Noah needed the assistance of Hashem’s support to walk in righteousness “with G-d” (Tanchuma 5; Beraishit Rabbah 30.10).

Why was Noah perfect in his "Generations" (plural)? Because he was perfect in the "generation" that he lived before the flood and the "generation" that he lived after the Flood.

The gematria of the words “generations of Noah”- תּוֹלְדֹת נֹחַ is 898+2 words=900=1+8.

A man righteous, perfect

אִישׁ צַדִּיק תָּמִים

1005+3 words = 1008 =1+8
1565=17=8(Mem 600)

Perfect in his generation

תָּמִים הָיָה בְּדֹרֹתָיו

1692=18 (Mem 600)

The gematria of the word “his generation”- דֹרֹתָיו is 620=8.

The number 620 is the gematria of the word "Keter"-כתר Crown, the highest level of the Eighth Sphira.

The gematria of the word "in his generation"- בְּדֹרֹתָיו is 622=10=1.

Noah walked

הִתְהַלֶּךְ נֹחַ

518=14=8 or 998=26=8 (Kaf 500)

The number 26is the gematria of the name  "Hashem"- יהוה. Thus Nah walked with Hashem (26=8).

From all the above we learn that Noah knew the Code of Hai (18) that the Torah is encrypted and he performed the commandments. This is why he walked with G-d.

Where did Noah walk with G-d? He walked with him near the Entrance to the Garden of Eden on the Temple Mount on the Mountain of Kedem. Noah lived near the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. This is where he built the Ark and where it came to rest before it was dispersed to Mount Ararat as I shall explain below. Noah knew that Adam had been buried at the Entrance to the Garden of Eden and had spent the rest of his life trying to return there in repentance. Noah wanted to “fix” the sin of Adam and rectify the world.
