Ruth 4.15

רות 4.15

15. 'And he shall be unto you a restorer of life- וְהָיָה לָךְ לְמֵשִׁיב נֶפֶשׁ(888 or 1386=18 counting final Kaf as 500), and to sustain your old age- וּלְכַלְכֵּל אֶת שֵׂיבָתֵךְ(1269=18) for your daughter-in-law who loves you has given birth to him-כִּי כַלָּתֵךְ אֲשֶׁר אֲהֵבַתֶךְ יְלָדַתּוּ, (2839+5 words=2844=18 counting final Kafs as 500), and she is better to you than seven sons-אֲשֶׁר הִיא טוֹבָה לָךְ מִשִּׁבְעָה בָּנִים (1108=10=1).

The verse can also be divided so:

·         And he shall be unto you a restorer of life and to sustain your old age-וְהָיָה לָךְ   לְמֵשִׁיב נֶפֶשׁ וּלְכַלְכֵּל אֶת שֵׂיבָתֵךְ (3117+7 words=3124=10=1counting final Kafs as 500);

·         For your daughter-in-law who loves you has given birth to him and she is better to you than seven sons-כִּי כַלָּתֵךְ אֲשֶׁר אֲהֵבַתֶךְ יְלָדַתּוּ אֲשֶׁר הִיא טוֹבָה לָךְ מִשִּׁבְעָה בָּנִים (2987=26=8).

And he shall be unto you a restorer of life

וְהָיָה לָךְ לְמֵשִׁיב נֶפֶשׁ
