Ruth 1.16

 רות 1.16

16.’And Ruth said, 'Do not entreat me (harm me/insult me) to leave you, to return from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge; your People shall be my People, and your G-d is my G-d-וַתֹּאמֶר רוּת אַל תִּפְגְּעִי בִי לְעָזְבֵךְ לָשׁוּב מֵאַחֲרָיִךְ כִּי אֶל אֲשֶׁר תֵּלְכִי אֵלֵךְ וּבַאֲשֶׁר תָּלִינִי אָלִין עַמֵּךְ עַמִּי וֵאלֹהַיִךְ אֱלֹהָי(5146+20 words=5166=18 or 8196+20 words = 8216 =17=8 counting final Kafs as 500).

The verse can be divided so:

·         And Ruth said, 'Do not entreat me to leave you- וַתֹּאמֶר רוּת אַל תִּפְגְּעִי בִי לְעָזְבֵךְ (1988=26=8or 2568+6 words=2474=17=8);

·         To return from following you- לָשׁוּב מֵאַחֲרָיִךְ(617=14=8 or 1097=17=8 or + 2 words = 19=10=1counting final Kaf as 500);

·         For where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge; your People shall be my People, and your G-d is my G-d-כִּי אֶל אֲשֶׁר תֵּלְכִי אֵלֵךְ וּבַאֲשֶׁר תָּלִינִי אָלִין עַמֵּךְ עַמִּי וֵאלֹהַיִךְ אֱלֹהָי(4631=14=8 or +12 words=4643=17=8 counting final Kafs as 500).

The last part of the verse can be divided so:

·         For where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge-כִּי אֶל אֲשֶׁר תֵּלְכִי אֵלֵךְ וּבַאֲשֶׁר תָּלִינִי אָלִין (3303=1+8 or + 8 words=3311=8counting final Nun and Kaf as 700 and 500);

·         Your People shall be my People, and your G-d is my G-d-עַמֵּךְ עַמִּי וֵאלֹהַיִךְ אֱלֹהָי (368=17=8or 1328 or + 4 words=1332=1+8 counting final Kafs as 500).

You shall go-I shall go
