5.'There was an ish Yehudi [Jewish man] in Shushan the capital whose name was Mordechai, son of Yair, son of Shimi, son of Kish, of the tribe of Binyamin-אִישׁ יְהוּדִי הָיָה בְּשׁוּשַׁן הַבִּירָה וּשְׁמוֹ מָרְדֳּכַי בֶּן יָאִיר בֶּן שִׁמְעִי בֶּן קִישׁ אִישׁ יְמִינִי (6110=8 or + 15 words=6125=14=8 counting final Nuns as 700).

Mordechai the Jew

מָרְדֳּכַי הַיְּהוּדִי

314=8 or + 2 words=316=10=1

The number 314 is the gematria of the All Powerful Name of G-d "Shadd-ai"-   שַׁדַּי. An almighty powerful force was at work in those days at this time.

The number 316 corresponds to the 613 commandments in the Torah which Mordechai kept and to which he caused the Jews of Babylon to return to in order to defeat their enemies.

The verse can be divided so:

·         There was an ish Yehudi- אִישׁ יְהוּדִי הָיָה(366+3 words=18);

·         In Shushan the capital- בְּשׁוּשַׁן הַבִּירָה (880+2 words=18 or 1530=1+8);

·         Whose name was- ) וּשְׁמוֹ352=10=1);

·         Mordechai, son of Yair מָרְדֳּכַי בֶּן יָאִיר-(547+3 words=550=10=1 or 1197=18 counting final Nun as 700);

·         Son of Shimi- בֶּן שִׁמְעִי(1122+2 words=8 counting final Nun as 700);

·         Son of Kish- בֶּן קִישׁ(462+2 words=14=8);

·         Of the tribe of Binyamin- אִישׁ יְמִינִי (431=8 or + 2 words=10=1).
