Lag BaOmer 5775
Lag B’Omer, the 33rd day of the Omer, the yahrtzeit of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai falls on the 18th of the Month of Iya’ar. This is no coincidence as according to the “Reverse Calendar”- הלוח ההפוך the 18th of Iya’ar on earth corresponds to the 11th of Cheshvan- יא חשון in the Eighth Sphira.
The 11th of Cheshvan is the yahrtzeit of Mother Rachel- רחל אמנו, the beloved wife of Jacob. Thus the receiving of the Radient Light of Heaven by Rabbi Shimon is inherently connected with the righteous soul of Mother Rachel.
That the two dates are deeply connected is sen by the following:
33+11=44=8
The number 33 also corresponds to the “Eighth Sphira” as the number 3 drawn forwards and backwards forms the number 8, two adjoining circles at a mid-point.
Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai
909=18
Rashbi
512=8
The number 909 is also the gematria of the words that appear many times in Parshat Re’eh “the place that He shall choose”-בַּמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר to appear to all Israel, the Temple in Jerusalem.
In the Place which He shall choose
909=18
Incredibly the name “Rabbi S. Bar Yochai” appears in these words:
In the Place which He, Hashem, shall choose
We also find encrypted in these words the word “Mashiach”-םשיח at two letter intervals beginning with a final Mem:
In the Place which He shall choose
909=18
Mashiach
918=18 (Mem 600)
From here we learn that the word “Mashiach”- םשיח is comprised of two words “Shem-Hai” “Name of Life” or “Living Name” or “Name of 18” and these words should be readbackwards starting from the letter “Shin”:
Shem-Hai
918=18
As this phrase appears in Parshat "Re’eh"- ראה no fewer than16 times we can conclude that Parshat Re’eh is intimately connected with both Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and the arrival of Mashiach.
The word "Re'eh"- ראה means "See!" This is the light of the Zohar of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai.
The name "Yochai”- יוחאי can also be read just with vowels and as such is spelt:
יֹחֵי
This spelling corresponds to twice the word “Hai”- חֵי (“Life”) as the word appears both backwards and forwards:
1-8-1
The name ‘Bar Yochai” can also be arranged to spell the date 18th Iyaar which is the day of his death, the day of Lag B’Omer:
בר יֹחאי
May his Memory be blessed and his merits protect us!
