Betzalel

בְצַלְאֵל

2. ‘And Betzalel son of Uri son of Hur from the Tribe of Judah made all that Hashem had commanded Moses-וּבְצַלְאֵל בֶּן אוּרִי  בֶן חוּר לְמַטֵּה יְהוּדָה עָשָׂה אֵת כָּל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת מֹשֶׁה   (3008+15 words=3023=8).

The verse can be divided so:
·         And Betzalel son of Uri son of Hur from the Tribe of Judah made- וּבְצַלְאֵל בֶּן אוּרִי בֶן חוּר לְמַטֵּה יְהוּדָה עָשָׂה אֵת (1584=18);
·         All that Hashem had commanded Moses- כָּל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת מֹשֶׁה (1424=1+8 or + 6 words = 1430 =8).
Rashi comments here that Betzalel knew matters of what Hashem commanded Moses even without Moses relating it to him as if he could read the mind of Moses and what had been said to him by Hashem on Mount Sinai (Tal. Yer. Peah 1.1). Moses instructed Betzalel to make the Vessels of the Sanctuary and only afterwards the structure. Betzalel made them in the opposite order as the manner of earth is to build a house and then fill it with the furnishings. Moses agreed and said to Betzalel “Indeed, what you said I heard from the Holy One Blessed Be He”. Thus Betzalel first made the Sanctuary and then its Vessels and furnishings (Berachot 55.a).

From here we learn that Moses heard double-backwards and forwards- from Hashem. This is consistent with the verse in Psalms 62.12 where G-d's ("Elokim") Name is written twice:

12.’G-d spoke one (Commandment) - אַחַת דִּבֶּר אֱלֹהִים(701=8) two (Commandments) are what I heard- שְׁתַּיִם זוּ שָׁמָעְתִּי (1583=17=8): as that is the Might of G-d – כִּי עֹז לֵאלֹהִים (783=18 or 1261=10=1 counting final Mem as 600).

In other words Hashem Spoke and Moses heard double at once!

The end of all matters are found in their beginnings
And the beginning of all matters are found in their ends

The name "Betzalel"- בְּצַלְאֵל means “In the shadow of G-d” ("B'Tzel El"). Rashi comments here that the mind of Betzalel was as one with that of Hashem. This is clear from the gematria of his name which can be read as 1and 8. Betzalel knew how to connect the Physical World of Malchut (1) with the Metaphysical World (8) and literally "create" a new creation on earth. The fact that Betzalel could tap into metaphysical wisdom and understanding is supported by the following gematria:

Betzalel-Keter-Hochma-Bina
בְּצַלְאֵל-  כתר חכמה בינה
913+4 words=17=8

The number 913 is the gematria of the first word of the Book of Beraishit (Genesis):

In the Beginning (of Creation)
בְּרֵאשִׁית
913

According to Midrash, Betzalel was created in the first six days of Creation and was in the “shadow” of Hashem and there he stayed until the time he was needed to build the Sanctuary. By virtue of his profound wisdom, Betzalel succeeded in erecting a Sanctuary which seemed a fit abiding-place for G-d, who is so exalted in time and space (Exodus Rabbah. 34:1; B’Midbar Rabbah. 12:3; Midrash Tehillim 91). The above gematria supports the words of Midrash.
