Esther 8.16

אסתר 8.16

16.'For the Yehudim there was light and happiness, and joy, and honor- לַיְּהוּדִים הָיְתָה אוֹרָה וְשִׂמְחָה וְשָׂשֹׂן וִיקָר (3278+6 words=3284=17=8 counting final Nun and Mem as 700 and 600).

The verse can be divided so:

·         For the Yehudim there was light and happiness- לַיְּהוּדִים הָיְתָה אוֹרָה וְשִׂמְחָה (1656=18 counting final Mem as 600);

·         And joy and honor- וְשָׂשֹׂן וִיקָר(972=18).
