And they camped in the Plains of Moav 

וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּעַרְבוֹת מוֹאָב

B'Midbar 22.1 במדבר

1. ’And the Children of Israel journeyed and they camped in the Plains of Moav on the opposite side of the Jordan, Jericho- וַיִּסְעוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּעַרְבוֹת מוֹאָבמֵעֵבֶר לְיַרְדֵּן יְרֵחוֹ (2394 =18).

The verse can be divided so:

·         And the Children of Israel journeyed- וַיִּסְעוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל (756=18);

·         And they camped- וַיַּחֲנו (80=8 or + 1 word=81);

·         In the Plains of Moav- בְּעַרְבוֹת מוֹאָב (729=18);

·         On the opposite side of the Jordan- מֵעֵבֶר לְיַרְדֵּן(606+2 words=14=8);

·         Jericho- יְרֵחוֹ (224=8).

The word "Jericho"-   יְרֵחוֹ is comprised of the letters:

·         Chet and Yud-                  ח י=18

·         Resh and Vav-   ר ו    = 206 =8

Thus the word can be read as 188 or 881.

The number 881 is the gematria for the words “Exodus from Egypt”-יצאת מצרים.

Thus the beginning- “Exodus from Egypt”- יצאת מצרים(881) is the end “Jericho”- יְרֵחוֹ (188).

After 40 years the Children of Israel had arrived at Jericho "alive"-Hai"- חי (18) due to the miracles wrought for them by Hashem (26) from the 8^thSphira.
