14.’ Thus says Hashem: A voice is heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel is weeping for her children- כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה קוֹל בְּרָמָה נִשְׁמָע נְהִי בְּכִי תַמְרוּרִים רָחֵל מְבַכָּה עַל בָּנֶיהָ (2600=8 or 3160=10=1 counting final Mem as 600), refusing to be comforted for her children, because they are missing- מֵאֲנָה לְהִנָּחֵם עַל בָּנֶיהָ כִּי אֵינֶנּוּ (543+6 words=18).

15.’ Thus says Hashem, Refrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for you work shall be rewarded says Hashem- כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה מִנְעִי קוֹלֵךְ מִבֶּכִי וְעֵינַיִךְ מִדִּמְעָה כִּי יֵשׁ שָׂכָר לִפְעֻלָּתֵךְ נְאֻם יְהוָה; (2622+14 words=2636=17=8) and they shall return- וְשָׁבוּ (314=8), from the land of the enemy- מֵאֶרֶץ אוֹיֵב (350=8 or 1160=8 counting final Zadik as 900).

16.’And there is hope for your future, says Hashem- וְיֵשׁ תִּקְוָה לְאַחֲרִיתֵךְ נְאֻם יְהוָה (2653=17=8 counting final Mem and Kaf as 600 and 500); and your children shall return to their border-וְשָׁבוּ בָנִים לִגְבוּלָם (257+3 words=350=8 or 1647=18 counting final Mems as 600).
