Pharaoh's two year recurring Dream

Beraishit 41.1- בראשית

1.’And it was at the end of exactly two years (lit. two years of days) that Pharaoh dreamed, and behold! He was standing over The River-וַיְהִי מִקֵּץ שְׁנָתַיִם יָמִים וּפַרְעֹה חֹלֵם וְהִנֵּה עֹמֵד עַל הַיְאֹר(2096=17=8).

The verse can be divided so:

·         And it was at the end of exactly two years- וַיְהִי מִקֵּץ שְׁנָתַיִם יָמִים (3091+4 words=17=8 counting final Zadik and Mems as 900 and 600);

·         That Pharaoh dreamed, and behold! He was standing over The River-וּפַרְעֹה חֹלֵם וְהִנֵּה עֹמֵד עַל הַיְאֹר (935=17=8).

Rashi clarifies here that “The River” here is the River Nile-הַנִילוּס. The word used for “River” in the verse is “Canal”- יְאֹר as the Nile is channeled into many man-made waterways (canals) that irrigate the land of Egypt as it is a land of little rainfall. 

The joint gematria of the words:

·         The River-      הַיְאֹר =216=1+8 or + 1 word=10=1

·         The Nile-    הַנִילוּס  =161=8 or + 1 word=162=1+8

377=17=8 or + 2 words=19=10=1

The above gematriot support Rashi’s comment above that “The River”- הַיְאֹר is “The Nile”- הַנִילוּס.

The numbers 216 and 162 correspond to the 216 letters in the Explicit Name of Hashem.

216+162=378=18

At the end of two years of days

מִקֵּץ שְׁנָתַיִם יָמִים

1130+3 words =8

Two years

Of days

Thus the exact period of "two years of days"- שְׁנָתַיִם יָמִים reflects the Code in which the Torah is encrypted, the Code of Hai:

800 (8) and 100 (1)

It was at the end of 18 (“Hai”) that Hashem released Joseph from prison and gave him “life”.

The gematria of the words “that Pharaoh dreamt”- וּפַרְעֹה חֹלֵם is 439+2 words=441=1+8 .

The number 441 is the gematria of the word "Truth"- אמת.

Pharaoh knew that this dream had deep significance and that it was one of absolute truth. The reason being, in my opinion, is that he dreamt it for a period of two years the entire time that Joseph was waiting for his release. This opinion is substantiated by the fact that the verbs "dreaming" and "standing" are written in the present tense. 

In my opinion the verse should be understood as follows:

And it was at the end of a two year period

וַיְהִי מִקֵּץ שְׁנָתַיִם יָמִים

3091+4 words=17=8 (final letters)

That Pharaoh

וּפַרְעֹה

361=10=1

Is dreaming and behold is standing

 חֹלֵם וְהִנֵּה עֹמֵד

On The River

עַל הַיְאֹר

Thus Pharaoh is troubled because at the end of a two year period of a recurring dream he still standing and dreaming on the River and has not been able to find someone to interpret it! In other words Pharaoh had been dreaming this dream since the Butler had been released from prison and had forgot Joseph!

Thus we can conclude that it was imperative for Joseph to be imprisoned for an extra two years so that Pharaoh would dream for two years the same dream night after night. Thus when Joseph was finally remembered by the Butler, Pharaoh was in a desperate state and was willing even to hear the opinion of an Hebrew imprisoned slave in an attempt to grant him relief!

We find (Shabbat 31.a):

Rava said, 'At the hour that man is led in for Judgment  he is asked, "Did you deal faithfully in business [i.e., with integrity], did you fix times for learning Torah, did you engage in procreation, did you hope for salvation, did you engage in the dialectics of wisdom, did you understand one thing from inside another.  Yet even if so [i.e., has done the above], 'is the fear of the Lord his treasure?,' if it is well: if not, [it is] not [well].

אָמַר (רב) [רָבָא], בְּשָׁעָה שֶׁמַּכְנִיסִין אָדָם לַדִּין, (אומר) [אוֹמְרִים] לוֹ, נָשָׂאתָ וְנָתַתָּ בֶּאֱמוּנָה? קָבַעְתָּ עִתִּים לַתּוֹרָה? עָסַקְתָּ בִּפְרִיָּה וּרְבִיָּה? צִפִּיתָ לִישׁוּעָה? פִּלְפַּלְתָּ בְּחָכְמָה? הֵבַנְתָּ דָּבָר מִתּוֹךְ דָּבָר? וַאֲפִילוּ הַכִי, אִי - "יִרְאַת יהוה הִיא אוֹצָרוֹ?", אֵין, אִי לָא – לָא.

At the hour that man is led in for Judgment

וַיִּזְכֹּר אֱלֹהִים אֶת רָחֵל

Rashi comments here that Hashem remembered Rachel in that she had given her sister Leah the signs on her wedding night and that she was frightened that Jacob would divorce her as she was barren (Tanchuma Yashan 20), and she would have to marry Esau who had heard that she had not borne children.

Jacob at this stage was in his 91^st year. Rachel was in her 28^thyear.

The number 91 is the joint gematria of the Names "Hashem"-יהוה and "Adnut"- אדני.

The number 28 is the gematria of the word "Koach"- כחwhich means "powerful/mighty".

Now Joseph could be conceived. Joseph was to be Rachel'sfirst child and the eighth son of the two main wives-Rachel and Leah. He was the 11^th son of Jacob and his 12^th child (including Dina).

Hashem heard Rachel through the Prayers of Jacob. Jacob knew that it was time for her to conceive and he prayed for her.

14.’And he had flocks, and herds of cattle, and much work; and the Philistines envied him-וַיְהִי לוֹ מִקְנֵה צֹאן וּמִקְנֵה בָקָר וַעֲבֻדָּה רַבָּה וַיְקַנְאוּ אֹתוֹ פְּלִשְׁתִּים (3850+11 words=3861=18 counting final Nun and Mem as 700 and 600).

Rashi comments that Isaac had many types of work- עֲבֻדָּה רַבָּהwhich made him wealthy.

Much work

Flocks and herds of cattle and a much work

מִקְנֵה צֹאן וּמִקְנֵה בָקָר וַעֲבֻדָּה רַבָּה

These words can be understood as:

Jealousy of flocks and jealousy of cattle and much work!

The events detailed in the above three verses has been constantly repeated throughout history up until the present day. Jews have become successful and prosperous through the blessings of Hashem in the countries of their exile following which the nations in whose country they dwell become envious and persecute them which in turn leads to the downfall of that nation. Today is no different. The Philistines and indeed the rest of the world are jealous and envious of the modern-day “start up miracle nation” called “Israel” a Garden of Paradise in the Desert Sand. 

Those jealous anti-Semites and self-hating Jews living in Israel and in the Diaspora  (Erev Rav) who support the "palestinian" usurpers of the land of the Jewish People and support placing boycotts on Israel will be cursed and will fall as Hashem told Abraham (Beraishit 12.3):

3.’And I will bless those that will bless you, and he who curses you I will curse-וַאֲבָרְכָה מְבָרְכֶיךָ וּמְקַלֶּלְךָ אָאֹר(954=18); and through you shall all the families of the earth be blessed-וְנִבְרְכוּ בְךָ כֹּל מִשְׁפְּחֹת הָאֲדָמָה(1719=18 counting final Kaf as 500).

Boycott against Israel

It just so happens that the word "Boycott"-חֶרֶם   ("Cherem") has the identical gematria of the name "Abraham"-   אַבְרָהָם.

Beraishit 27.40-בראשית

40.’ And upon your sword you shall live and you shall serve your brother; and it shall be that when you shall be aggrieved, that you may remove his yoke from off your neck-וְעַל חַרְבְּךָ תִחְיֶה וְאֶת אָחִיךָ תַּעֲבֹד וְהָיָה כַּאֲשֶׁר תָּרִיד וּפָרַקְתָּ עֻלּוֹ מֵעַל צַוָּארֶךָ(4191+13 words=4204=10=1).

The verse can be divided so:

·         And upon- וְעַל (106+1 word=8);
·         Your sword you shall live, and you shall serve your brother-חַרְבְּךָ תִחְיֶה וְאֶת אָחִיךָ תַּעֲבֹד (1575=18);
·         And it shall be that when you shall be aggrieved, that you may remove his yoke from off your neck- וְהָיָה כַּאֲשֶׁר תָּרִיד וּפָרַקְתָּ עֻלּוֹ מֵעַל צַוָּארֶךָ (2510=8).

The number 4204 corresponds to the number 424 which is the gematria of the name "Mashiach son of David"- משיח בן דוד.

He will take upon himself the burden of Torah and remove the yoke of the enemies from Israel. 

The gematria of the word “your sword”- חַרְבְּךָ is 710=8 counting final Kaf as 500.

Rashi states that when Israel will transgress the Torah then Esau’s descendants will have a claim to be aggrieved over the blessings Jacob took and then they are permitted to remove his yoke. When Israel rejects Torah they will be unworthy to dominate others (Beraishit Rabbah 67.7).

In order to derive the benefit from the blessings of the firstborn one has to behave like a firstborn. Thus Jacob went to the Yeshiva of Ever and studied there for 14 years.

The gematria of the word “aggrieved”- תָּרִיד is 614 which correspond to the 613 Mitzvoth of the Torah + 1 for the word.

Thus performing the 613 Mitzvoth make Israel worthy to dominate and render Esau as impotent.

The number 614 just so happens to be the gematria of my name.

The gematria of the words “that you may remove his yoke from off your neck”- וּפָרַקְתָּ עֻלּוֹ מֵעַל צַוָּארֶךָ is 1349=17=8.

This lesson will be finally learnt by Israel at the “End of Days” when Israel returns to Hashem through their Mashiach who will rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem and fulfill the Prophecy of the Prophet Obadiah (1.21):

21.’And saviors shall ascend onto Mount Zion to judge the Mount of Esau, and to Hashem shall be the Kingdom- וְעָלוּ מוֹשִׁעִים בְּהַר צִיּוֹן לִשְׁפֹּט אֶת הַר עֵשָׂו וְהָיְתָה לַיהוָה הַמְּלוּכָה (4140=1+8 counting final Nun and Mem as 700 and 600).

And the prophecy of the Prophet Zachariah (14.9):

9.’ And Hashem shall be King over the entire earth-וְהָיָה יְהוָה לְמֶלֶךְ עַל כָּל הָאָרֶץ (1908=18 counting final Zadik and Kaf as 900 and 500); on that day shall Hashem be One- בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִהְיֶה יְהוָה אֶחָד(144=1+8), and His Name be One- וּשְׁמוֹ אֶחָד  (365=14=8).

The number 414 is tenfold the gematria of the words "Infinite Divine light"- אור אין סוף.

The number 144 is the gematria of "Kedem"- קדם"Origin"-The World to Come. 

The number 441 is the gematria of the word "Truth"- אמת.

 

There we shall bask in the Infinite Light that was hidden away at the time of Creation.
